Interval Records was founded in 2023 as a joint venture record label partnership between Universal Music UK's EMI North division and leading creative talent development agency, Generator. Operating from Newcastle's iconic Quayside, Interval Records builds upon Generator's thirty-year foundation within the North East's music community, to provide first-rate regional artists with ground-breaking development opportunities and label services for the first time.

Headed and staffed by Artists, Artist Managers and Creatives with a deep understanding of the Artist psyche, Interval takes a unique approach to incubating talent based outside of London.
